STATEMENT

In my paintings I have always combined abstraction and realism to create a story. I dedicate myself to the search for characters and historical mysteries that represent the enigmas and paradoxes that I find in my readings.

When I paint I try to transcribe “the dark ocean of my memory” by reflecting and making decisions about what to reproduce figuratively and what to reproduce abstractly.

For me, white is pure and luminous, it represents all possibilities, ideas and emotions that flow without limitations. On the other hand, black represents negation and absence; it is the abyss where mysteries and ineffable truths are hidden.
